    Unhappy zephyroth amd leopard 10.5.2 Rev.1

    Hey people, I've got a question for AMD 10.5.2 Rev.1 Zephyroth

    PC data:

    Motherboard Name: Foxconn C51XEM2AA-8EKRS2H
    Motherboard Chipset: nForce590SLI
    CPU Type: Dual Core AMD Athlon 64 X2, 2100 MHz (10.5 x 200) 4000 +
    CPU # 1: AMD Athlon (tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4000 +, 2109 MHz
    CPU # 2: AMD Athlon (tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4000 +, 2109 MHz
    Ram: 2x2 GB 2DDR2
    Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GTS
    Device Description: HDD: Maxtor 6Y160P0 ATA Device IDE
    WLAN: D-Link AirPlus G DWL-G510 Wireless PCI Adapter (rev.C)

    And I get on my PC, the report "Still Waiting for the Root Device"?

    It's either the installer DVD doesn't have your board driver/kext or your IDE devices need reconfiguration per correct master and slave units.
    Is your DVD also IDE?

    the dvd drive is USB

    Have you tried reconfiguring your HDD, and internal DVD if applicable, to master/slave setup?
