    Default unable to conect to internet (cable unplugged)

    hello i just installed leopard in my pc with i atkos v5i and everything goes fine but when i tried to conect to internet via cable but when i plug the ethernet cable i didnt have internet so i go to network in leopard and it says status:cable unplugged the cable of ethernet adaptor (en0) is not plugged in so anyone can help me would greatly appreciate it

    You either did not set it up correctly or did not install the correct kext/driver for it, hence OSX can not recognize the device.

    Yes I'm new in this my question is how do I install the kexts or what can i do solve the problem?

    You need to find out what kext was installed, what version of OSX, what network card to find/install kext for it.

    my network card is realtek 811D i dont know what kext is installed and my OSX is leopard version 10.5.5 believe me i dont know anything about mac so im lost.....

    problem solved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i found the kexts in insanelymac.com then installed the kexts withkext helper then reboot and i enter in network and says connected to ethernet!!! thank you very much
