boot0: GPT , boot0:error
About two years ago I've installed OsX 10.5 using iDeneb with much appreciated help from the experts here. during this time I have run it flawless, being very proud of my home made MAC. I have a dual core Intel on a Asus P5B MB.
Now I am devastated...
I have removed a DVD drive (used to have two) and few days later when I wanted to boot, I've got the prompt for awhile and normally after that I would get the Apple's logo but now I get:
On the same computer I have also Windows on another drive and when switching from one OS to another, I go into BIOS and set the windoze drive to be the booting drive and this config worked for two years. In fact, I have saved into BIOS to config and I only choose one and load it with the correct setting for the given OS. So through Windows, as always, I can see the MAC drive and everything seems to be in place.
I am stuck and devastated. It seems some booting files got screwed but have no idea how. Please help me out to bring this hackintosh back to life. O:)
All pros are gone from this forum?
I could boot from the original iDeneb disk and went to Disk Utilities.
Trying to verify or repair the disk would end up in an error:
Invalid BS_jmpBoot in boot block: fa31c0
I am further ask for some guidance if anyone around, please.
Set the boot flags
Google GParted, burn it to the cd, and boot it. Then select the partion and select flags. Check boot. You're done!:D
