    Default osx86 boot times

    Hiya ppl,
I was wondering how long (or short) is your boot time on your installed osx.

I've had iAtkos v7 installed and running (with only 1 cpu) and the boot time was Long... about 6 minutes. I'm assuming this isn't the normal boot time...

So if you don't mind, share your boot time (from pressing enter on the boot loader to the desktop background load, more or less).

    thanks!

    Just to update,
my boot time has been reduced to 25 seconds

    I'm not sure why though

Id say from when i turn the laptop on to when i can login it takes about 45 seconds, and maybe another 10 after that to start up after i enter my password.

I have installed other distros that took much longer than this for me... Still being a bit green myself im not sure why this is though...

Im using Kalyway 10.5.2 just so you know and im running on a Samsung NC10 netbook.
