    Default No USB Plug and Play

    ive noticed that i cant just plug anything USB into my hackintosh and have it work...i have to start up with it plugged in...is there a solution???
    Macintosh-
    MacBook Pro 15" 2010
    OSX: 10.6.6
    Processor: 2.53 GHz Intel Core i5
    RAM: 4 GB DDR3
    Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M 256MB
    HDD: 500GB @ 7200 RPM

    Try installing this
    HP Pavilion Elite m9250f

    Have the same problem. Testing above solution now.

    Above fix did not work. Also it doesn't seem to be ALL usb devices. It's only USB storage devices (jump drive, hard drive, ect). When connecting keyboard mouse it works fine, as well as an iPhone. The storage devices don't even show up in disk utility. After a reboot they pop up just fine.

    Also, this is after update to 10.5.6. iDeneb 1.3 (10.5.5) DSDT update, EFI update.

    Thanks for the link got the usb problem fix can now detect my flash drive on the computer without rebooting the machine
