Hey guys,
So I've recently converted my PC to half Windows, half OSX. While in OSX I decided to play some music on iTunes and so I added all the music on my PC in the library. It was taking ages to process everything and after a while I realized that it was actually copying all of my songs over to the OSX partition.

Question is why? I mean OSX can read NTFS so I don't see why it would copy over all the songs. Maybe I've done something wrong...I just went to file > add folder to library, like in windows, but it started copying all my songs...

If I'm doing something wrong, I'd appreciate it if someone pointed me in the right direction, if not can someone explain why this is happening and maybe suggest an alternative way to listen to music so that I don't have to copy all my music over? All advice is appreciated
