I have finally gotten osx86 installed using iDeneb 10.5.5 and everything went smoothly. It boots up well, restart and sleep all work.
However, there is one giant issue (for me anyway) in that iTunes doesn't work. I can start iTunes just fine, but if I try to enter iTunes Music Store or add media to my library it crashes. This machine has been an iTunes media server for my AppleTV, but in it's previous incarnation it was running Vista x64. I was hoping that by running OSx86 I could still serve iTunes media to the AppleTV (without the endless hassle of Windows).
Does anyone have any idea why iTunes crashes? Here's how I can cause it: I start iTunes from the dock, when it opens I go into the menu to add a file to the library. I select the file in the finder window and then I get the swirling ball for a few seconds before iTunes quits and I get a notification to either ignore, report it, or relaunch. I have tried the iTunes version that came in iDeneb, as well as the 8.0.2 update. I have iLife '09 for my real macs, so I can try that as well.
