Hi there,i have installed recently iatkos v7 10.5.7 (is there an 10.5.8 preinstalled version?) on my pc:
GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD3R
CPU: i7-920 LGA1366
CORSAIR TR3X6G1600C8 XMS3 DDR3 6GB (3X2GB) PC3-12800 (1600MHZ) TRIPLE CHANNEL KIT
GAINWARD 0636 GEFORCE GTX285 1GB HDMI PCI-E

sucesfully with this options:

* Main iAtkos System v7
* Chameleon v2
* Extra Directory
* DSDT
* DSMOS
* APIC Driver
* Disabler
* OHR
* Remove TyMCE
* AHCI
* Intel SATA / IDE
* JMicron SATA / IDE
* Nvidia GT200 Driver
* Natiti Enabler
* Post Install
and AppleHDA.kext for the sound.Everything works great so i did a back up of my extensions file and
1)did the apple update from software update.Of course after restart it didint boot,so i replaced the old extensions folder with the new one,fixed permissions,log in with -x -f and fix permissions again and reboot and 10.5.8 was up and working,cores,ram etc all ok.
But i cant restart or shutdown.It hangs....

2)i tired update with Ideneb Compo update 10.5.8 or Delta update but nothing,all the procedure again worked,my system is fully functional and working but it diesnt restart.I have checked my extensions and OpenhaltRestart.kext is installed.

Please Help!!!

to fix your problem afater u patched to 10.5.8 and restarted....load in your iatkos v7 dvd and untick everything except the osx86 patches..expand it and select which stuff u want...install...skip consistency..restart..boot in verbose mode and it should be ok...i tried this on my sse2 pc with the ideneb 10.5.8 delta upgrade and it works perfectly
