    Question help with getting mac for a compaq with an amd processor!!!!

    i have a brand new compaq cq60 215DX with an amd processor. i have downloaded kalyway and cannot get it to boot period. Am i using the wrong version of mac for my computer?? Ive heard of iatkos and ideneb, but what is the best one to use and the one that would actually work with my amd processor

    Did you get the installation? how did you customize? Kalyway, iAtkos and iDeneb are distributions, all of them are OSX just with more drivers for Pcs

    no i need to know which version on mac is compatible with my laptop with an amd processor, and i need to know where to find that version and where to go to download it

    AMD is not the problem, mostly the chipset.

    for amd, use the voodoo kernel.

    boot with -v and let use know where it stops working at,
    -omn

    k well i downloaded the ideneb v1.4???(i think) and i got the voodoo kernel but im not exactly sure where to put it.

    i put it in the the iso before i burned it and now when i try to boot from it it dont even get to the screen where you supposed to press f8 and type -v.

    Where did i screw up??????

    i am having the same problem. i have tried all the other kernels typed -v, -s, and -x. I have the same laptop.
