    Question EFI Questions from a n00b ;)

    Dear forum,

I'm fully aware as a Mac user that the EFI is like a PC BIOS, but far better and more modern...

SO... when using an OSx86 distribution like iDeneb on a PC, which installs and functions normally, why would I need to install things like EFI v8? What would this help me achieve?

iDeneb bundles apps like EFI Studio and I can't work out how these apps could help me in any way?
    iDeneb v1.3, Pentium D E2220 @ 2.4GHz, Gigabyte EG41MF-S2H, 2GB 667 DDR2, 160GB SATA, Intel X4500, Realtek 8111C LAN & ALC888 Audio.

I think the best way to use EFI is using OSX Retail, check the munkys guide in the tutorial forum, you have to use a EFI partition and stuff like that... in the tutorial theres some useful links
