Ok, so I got 10.5.8 dual booted with windows, complete with fixed audio and resolution (Chameleon rc4 fix, not GRUB). And it works pretty great despite the intel GMA45 issue. My question, however, is this. Can I use an upgrade disk to bring it to Snow Leopard? What is the highest version a dell inspiron 1545 can support? Will it break anything? My disk is a 10.6.4 disk, can I go straight there or do I have to upgrade inbetween? I do not have a windows repair disk, as I upgraded to the windows 8 preview, so if it breaks it Im screwed lol.
