I hope, but no one knows except for the dev team members. but anyways, I get annoyed at ppl complaining about a freaking PIN SIM, why don't they just DISABLE the freakin PIN protection of the SIM? security reasons? yeah right.............

It's easy, some carriers in Europe does not allow you to disble PIN SIM. I'm lucky and my carrier (Vodafone Spain) comes with PIN enabled, but I can disable it.

Also some users (a friend of mine) have dual SIM with 2 different PIN, one for their particular phone number, and the other for their corporate phone number. Without the PIN they cannot swap between the differents phone numbers

The core program is supposedly the same, so I doubt if PIN will be supported, real pain in the butt!!!

    Default Sim support

I have just upgraded a locked 3G phone with Redsn0w and ultrasn0w and cannot get the phone to boot with the sim card locked.

Does anyone else have this problem

The upgrade restore &c was flawless so well done to the dev team. It would just be nice to lock the simcard.

    Default sim lock

Thanks for that reassurance. Persevered and it worked - bit flaky but looks like a bad sim carrier or contacts.
