The fix is for ultrasn0w unlock (and specifically for iPhone 4).

Battery life issues when you have only jailbroken have other causes. There are existing threads for such issues.

You are thread jacking - the details you provide suggest that you do not have the issue described in this thread. Did you actually read the whole thread before replying?

    - Before jailbreak (ios4 & 4.0.1 with default settings) in 10 hours of standby: 100% to 98%
    - After jailbreak in 10 hours of standby: same results
    - After ultrasnow in 10 hours of standby: 100% to 74%
Hate to say I'm not unlocked... My jailbreak is pretty stable. (Which is why I didn't bore you with these details earlier, )

It's presently 2:35PM EST, I pulled my phone off the charger at 6:50AM EST. Used the phone as an iPod for the hour long drive to work, and have used it for a total of about 90 minutes today between SMSing, mucking about, ScummVMing, etc. Battery percentage is 84%.

Time since full charge: 1 hour, 39 minutes
    Standby: 7 hours, 26 minutes

Using SBSettings, I have Location disabled (I don't want anything to know where I am unless it prompts me and I specifically tell it OK), 3G+Data on, Bluetooth disabled, SSH installed but disabled, Wifi on, Auto-lock after 2 mins on. Have 5 IMAP accounts checked every 15 minutes with push notifications turned off.

So, in my case, battery life seems completely unaffected.
