Now trying the RedSn0w 0.8 for my 3GS... so far no problems..
easier than last RedSnow 0.72...
Follow what it says..
only press home to enter recovery mode that's it..
the rest is.. THANKS TO iPhone DEV-TEAM!!!!
Ok what i did, The requirements :
- Firmware/OS 3.0 for 3GS - iPhone2,1_3.0_7A341_Restore.ipsw << DL. rename zip to ipsw
- Redsn0w 0.8 for Windows, me using Windows of course
- iTunes 8.2
- USB cable - dock connector.
- iPhone 3GS!!!
- Lil faith and LUCK!
- RUN Redsn0w, follow what it says.
Anyway, 3GS is really fast, Love it!!!
I won't encourage anyone to try it, if not sure what you're doing.
But I believe good tutorial will come out soon... just check around.
NOTE:
Me using : iPhone 3GS.16Gb | Windows XP | redsn0w-win_0.8 | Lil bit LUCK

yes, success, easier than the late version, and i have tried unlocked my phone with ultrasn0w and worked but need a lil trick
