Hello guys, getting my head busted here, in step 4,
Please add the repo repo666.ultrasn0w.com to Cydia or Icy. That last “o” is actually the number zero “0”! If you use the letter “o” you’ll get an error.

i Cant find that repo, can only find yellosn0w, meh even to the brower ANd tiped the url i safari and searched on the cindia search feature but cant find it >_>

why dont you use copy and paste function on 3.0?

Try turning WiFi on and off, and resetting your network settings also. A reboot may also help.

You just need to use the complete URL ultrasn0w.com . The 'http://' part is essential. I was making same mistake too. Hope it helped. Cheers !!

I am definitely entering the correct repo ultrasn0w.com and I keep getting the repository not found message

Does anyone know how to fix this? I note that at the present time, the iphone dev team blog page isnt working properly. Does this maybe have something to do with this, as if their server is down maybe the Ultrasn0w patch cant be found??

I am on the correct 0S 3 (shift restore method) and have jailbroken using redsn0w 0.8

Okay, so there is a walkaround for this weird situation, but I wouldn't consider it "solved"...

I'm a LOT more interested about the hows and whys... as it seems many users are experiencing this problem (me included, I wiggled around that with a VPN connection to somewhere else). It seems as if this were a ISP issue, concerning several (mainly European, from what I know) countries and ISPs. To me this is not a coincidence anymore, I smell foul play (not that I could back this up with facts, it's a gut feeling)

I have Cydia and Repo666 installed correctly on my iphone 3G. But anytime i get to repo666 it WON'T reinstall. When I hit CONFIRM ,while it's loading i lose both cellphone network and wi-fi. And after reloading it would tell me RESART SPRINGBOARD. When I hit Resart Springboard it will start reloading for a little bit and the phone automatically goes back to the iphone menu.
tI won't just complete the unlocking process anytime I get to that stage (Repo666-Modify-Confirm).
What to do to fix this issue?
Also how to get the phone display APN instead of VPN on the SETTINGS (I believe it has something to do with the phone being locked.)
P.S.: the phone is jailbroken alredy
