Well good luck finding another unlock if you dont trust the dev team - they are the only ones who have done anything lately and gave us Yellowsnow and Ultrasnow.

When ultrasnow comes out simply dont use it - find another solution

I also confirm Pwnage 3.0 does not work on my PPC Mac... nor did Quickpwn for FW 2.2 work on my PPC Mac.

I have a 3G at FW 2.2 unlocked with Yellowsn0w. I use TmobileUSA as my carrier. I can still Sync with iTunes 8.02 on my PPC Mac once the phone is unlocked.

But, Im getting more and more tempted to get an official 3GS, because Tmobile Edge internet speed is about 200mbps, while ATT 3G speed is about 500mbps.. AND, where I live now, ATT HAS Reception, and Tmobile has NO SERVICE..

I hate Tmobile cell coverage.. Their service is $45 a month cheaper, but, is it worth it to be slow, and unable to make calls, and to miss incoming calls..

Im sooo close to going over to the dark side..

And, I want the 3GS compass feature, plus there is NO Unlock for 3GS..

And, I could have a White One! :-)

The dev team is making progress.. They just need to finish the loader and package it all up. If I were a betting man I'd say release within 24hours.

thanks appleguru, Im hoping you are correct, but, its now 730am on Monday in California.. No change in status, no Ultrasnow yet.

No 3G unlock at FW 3.0 and no 3GS unlock...

Basically, the only people who can unlock FW 3.0 are 2G iPhone users.. thats nice, but, I dont have a 2G..

btw, please dont quote my whole post unless you are replying to something specific, that way we save space

No No I disagree with you on that Money thing because they can make Loads of money selling that Solution to Millions but they are giving it free.. Just wait it is NOT easy.. Apple did everything to make impossible what they are trying to make possible.

Dude, the dev team doesn't accept donations. They work on the unlock and release it for free!! That's it. Don't complain if you're not getting something for free that you aren't smart enough to make yourself!

Well, I went to the ATT store today, and unfortunately they said they wont have any 3GS iPhones until Thursday or Friday..

I want a white one..

as of 9:30 pm, still no Ultrasnow in California

besides, Ultrasnow wont work on a 3GS

I may have an unlocked 3G for sale on Friday, PM me if interested.. the price will be 350, Im not greedy, just breaking even.. I bought it out of contract.. cost me more than that.. its been well cared for.. but I digress

I do hope Dev gives us the unlock when its ready..

but, Im really starting to jones for a 3GS.. I already have 3G..
