my roommate bought an iphone 3g from ebay a while back

i tried to unlock it for her, then i found out
this phone had been tempered with ,

i'm not sure what has been done to this phone prior to me,
but here is the condition now

its jailbroken,
it works with AT&T, but it doesnt work with t-mobile

its currently on 2.2.1 (5h11)
and baseband 02.30.03

i was wondering if there are ways to virginize it or restore it , so i can try to unlock it again.


after reading some of the posts ,

what is its bootrom and baseband version?

bootrom is 320.20

baseband is 02.30.03

Yes you can follow those two procedures to restore to OS 3.0, jailbreak and unlock.

If you decide you want to later upgrade to OS 3.1.3 or 4.0 use pwnagetool/custom IPSW.
