    Default iPhone wont start?..

I just recently got an iPhone 3G 16GB. It was already jailbroken, but not unlocked. I took the time to unlock and it was unlocked however I wanted to "reset and restore to factory settings". So i did it said it would take up to at least 2 hours. The problem is that during the process my phone battery died and now i cant even leave the Apple screen. I tried re-jailbreaking it hoping that that would work, however still nothing. It gets to the Apple Logo, then shows the loading image and freezes for a bit then loads again. Does this for about 15-20 minutes and then the phone will restart. I just want it to charge fully how can i get that to happen, unless there is already a solution to this.

Help me please Im new to this stuff.
    Thanks

This erases the OS as well, so everyone who choses this option ends up with an apple logo loop.

Use this guide to get your iPhone back up and working iClarified - iPhone - How to Jailbreak Your iPhone 3G on OS 3.1.3 Using PwnageTool (Mac) If you have a windows machine, borrow a friend's mac, download an existing custom ipsw from a trusted source (we are not allowed to link to this) or if you really must use sn0wbreeze (that software is not recommended and will not be supported on this forum)

Then determine your baseband version Settings->General->About->Modem firmware - it will be either 04.26.08 (use ultrasn0w unlock) 05.11.07 (use blacksn0w unlock) or 05.12.01 (you have loaded a non custom 3.1.3 and destroyed any chance of unlocking until June/July).

Do not simply click restore in iTunes, this will load OS 3.1.3 which can't be unlocked
