iPhone 3GS bought with original pre-installed 3.1 OS
Hello,
I have read the post on the iPhone dev team site that we should never upgrade the iPhone 3GS to OS 3.1, because we'll permanently lose the ability to SIM unlock.
But I just bought a brand new iPhone and it already has 3.1 installed. Does this mean it can never be jailbroken and SIM unlocked?
Or, when the team releases the next redsnow and ultrasnow supporting 3.1, will I be able to jailbreak and unlock it then?
Thanks,
Davood

For now, you will not be able to unlock/jb 3.1
