    Default If things go south with Ultrasnow can we roll back.

    Can we roll back or revert.
    Iphone 3G
    Verson 2.2(5G77)
    Modem Firmware: 02.28.00

    Plan is to try 3.0 and ultra snow.
    Question is can we revert back if we want to or is this a one way process ?

    Im certainly now expert

    Im sure there will be a way to downgrade the firmware, but the basebands seem to be very difficult to downgrade.

    I was on 2.2.1 using a rabel sim as my baseband wasnt support by yellowsn0w

    i just updated itunes to 8.2 updated to firmware 3.0, jailbroke using resnow then istalled ultrasn0w from cydia.

    and everything worked great, now on vodafone uk with everything working including mms

    As of now there is no way to downgrade the baseband !
