A couple problems after upgrade to .9
US service provider is Tmobile. Phone is a US phone purchased from ATT. Redsnow to jailbreak and ultrasnow .9 to unlock. I did a complete restore and "new" iphone during setup.
1. I cannot take a call and browse the internet at teh same time. This was working with .6. I read the ultratips and I know they say it is not related to the unlock, but all I can say is that it was working on .6 and after I upgrade when I take a call the "E" goes away and I cannot connect to the web or maps. I receive "cellular data connections are not availiable during this call".
2. bossprefs does not work. I used boss prefs on .6 and it worked -- i could set the battery to "numeric". Now, when I set the battery to numeric it does not work. It also doesn't work to toggle on and off the wifi, 3g etc through boss prefs. I can still toggle on and off the connections via the native iphone "settings" menu. But I have no way to get the numeric battery

Instead of using BossPrefs (no longer developed) use sbsettings. This will get you numeric battery.

Thanks Cofi -- numeric battery now works

No Data Network Edge During A Phone Call
1. I cannot take a call and browse the internet at thh same time. This was working with .6 of ultrasnow. I read the ultratips and I know they say it is not related to the unlock, but all I can say is that it was working on .6 and after I upgrade when I take a call the "E" goes away and I cannot connect to the web or maps while on a call. I receive "cellular data connections are not available during this call".
Is anyone else seeing this? Do we still believe the unlock is not causing this issue?
NOTE: I am using Tmobile in Atlanta Ga. This worked during the previous unlock with Tmobile, However, after I upgraded to 3.0, then unlocked with .9 I am no longer able to talk and start a data session.

- Try network reset
- Turn off 3G
- Hard boot your phone
Try to apply readsn0w with T-mobile SIM inside the iphone
If these don’t work then there is no option other than clean restore. While running readsn0w ensure that your T-mobile sim is inside.
Good luck
Thanx * Rgds,

I have the same problem. And that only happened to me since dev-team changed the way ultrasn0w loads on iPhone (since the last version).
It could be a coincidence, but I don't know...
