Did you mean "can't" rather than "can"???
I have an iphone 3G, firmware 3.0.1, jailbroken using redsn0w 0.8 and ultrasn0w d/led via Cydia.
T-Mobile UK works 100% fine, for browsing & voice calls.

Turn off 3G and data roaming... i heard 3G is not computable in T-Mobile US and Japan where it operates in frequency which Iphone don’t support.

Is in the UK, not US.
Confucious is a member of this forum and he uses t-mobile (I think) on the UK.
Try leaving him a PM.
