Snow Leopard on a Dell Dimension E521
Have been looking around for how to install it on my Dell. People say its "un-hackintoshable".
Has anyone successfully installed it?

Succes!
Made it this afternoon!
Used Hazard Snow DVD...
Chameleon rc4... triple boot SL, Leo, Seven.
The installation is pretty fluent, thanks to the working nvdiaSATA kext on this release; that the only change I checked, except the AMD kernel.
The system is very slow, mouse & keyboard lag a lot, can't figure out why right now, my spare time is over!
I made last month an alternate tentative, from a restaured working image from an old Siemens P4, that failed because of unfunctional nvidiaSATA kext. Will try later to switch on this or for those I've got now on my new install.
--------
Beware of root account that seems to be set on, I had to hack the password after the install Explanation there -> Le fourre tout ..
Hope I'll that stuff achieve soon!
