YAY Snow Leopard in a Lenovo Ideapad Y450
After a long break ... Managed to install retail Snow Leopard in a Lenovo Y450 .. A few things don't work ( the usual suspects, LAN, WiFi and SDHC ) but it's stable enough to run Office 2008, iLife, Parallels and stuff I need and in 64-bit and dual boot Win7 ultimate and OSX

For sound, use the VooDooHDA 2.1 and for WiFi, bought a cheap USB EnGenius EUB-9703 with Ralink drivers. Started with 10.6 and used Apple updates to update to 10.6.2. Some screenshots below.
All the fancy Lenovo specific stuff don't work ( e.g. SlideNav ) and the trackpad can't do a double-tap to click but it's usable for my needs and awaiting better drivers for 64 bit Snow Leopard. Thinking to bump up the ram from 4Gb to 8 Gb, already upgraded the hard disk from 500 Gb to 640 Gb WD Scorpio blue
