Default Installing SnowLeopard on Intel Mobile Core 2 Duo T5500

    Hey,
before starting I'm going to say it - I'm a terrible noob in computer hardware and I need your help^^

I got a laptop (mentioned in the title and later) with ideneb Leopard installed that my brother installed a long time ago, now I need to upgrade it to Snow leopard.
My biggest problem is what files do I need to install?
I tried searching this forum and the web but I got terribly confused.

I will be happy for answers for the following questions:
    1) A generic list of files needed to install on every computer.
    2) Why is there a difference between computers?
    3) How does this difference affect the installation? only diffrent files or is there something more to it?
    4) How can I figure out what steps / files do I need for my own computer? (Hardware listed below)

    Thanks ALOT

you have an lgf1, correct? what did you end up doing in terms of your dsdt to get graphics working properly? do you have a copy of your dsdt.aml or compiled one?
