Question Info for a first time install of OS X

I'm new at installing OSX on physical hardware, so I'm doing this to make sure everything goes smoothly.
First off I'm trying to install OS X Snow Leopard on a Toshiba M7 Tablet*. Its hardware is:

    CPU: Intel T2300E Core/Centrino Duo
    Chipset: 945GM Express
    GPU: Integrated GMA950
Network: Intel 3925ABG Wifi & Intel PRO/1000 VE Ethernet
Memory: 4gig physical ram(32bit limit applies)
    Disk: 160GB (97gb W7,40GB XP, 12GB RAW/Unused[OS X target partition])
    Full info HERE(PDF)

What I need to know is: Whats the current method to install OS X Snow Leopard on said hardware using a USB disk drive, and can it be done without having to reinstall windows from scratch.

Also, I have a VMware install of OSX 10.6.3 available.

*I don't expect tablet to work in OS X. But, it'd be awesome if it did.

    Hi there,
My suggestion to you is to do a lot of reading and research on the web as well as in this forum, and particularly to dual boot with windows, installation problem and solution etc. to make sure that everything goes smoothly.
They are covered under SL and dual boot forums.
    Regard,

Only problem with that is, I see no comprehensive guides here and there are at least 20 different guides on the internet with different methods and no continuity.

So why don't you be the first to write such guide. Welcome to hackint0sh.
