IF ANYONE HAS OR KNOWS HOW TO GET THE Atheros AR5007 WIFI CARD RUNNING IN 64-BIT MODE OR HAS 64-BIT KEXTS THEN PLEASE POST A RESPONSE TO THIS FORUM!
Hi. Thanks for the guide. I have an HP G70 laptop with AR5007 wifi built in. I've installed Snow Leopard OOTB using the EmpireEFI method but cannot get the AR5007 wifi adapter working at all. I'm running in 32-bit mode. Can you help me in any way as I've followed several other forum threads and none of them help. In Windows 7 the wifi card is recognised as AR5007 and not AR5007EG or any other letters.

    Many thanks in advance.

Default Snow leopard on Pavillion Elite m9000t

I have an m9000t With the following specs:

OS: Snow Leopard 10.6 (Currently downloading 10.6.5 Combined)
Hard Drive: 250 GB for booting, 200 GB for storage
    Ethernet: Intel 82566DC-2 Gigabit Ethernet(Works)
    Motherboard: IPIBL-LA (Berkely-GL8E)
Graphics Card: Nvidia 9500 GS 512MB (With blue fan cover (From Recall Replacement)) - Upgraded from (8800GT?) (Working - QE/CI Enabled)
Sound: ALC888s(Not working Yet), PCI X-Fi(Doesn't work at all)
    Wireless: N/A
    TV Tuner N/A

I use the myhack boot-loader with chameleon to load the 64 bit kernel. I have read the posts a few times, but don't know what to download for audio. Which kext do I get for the ALC888s under 64 bit OS X.

P.S: My boot and shutdown times are ridiculously fast.
P.P.S: I dont care about NTFS-3G or 32 bit, as I no longer use windows or NTFS on my desktop (I have a non (hackintoshable?) Laptop running windows 7), and I need 64 bit for Creative Suite 5.

Not sure if it will help or not, but try using the latest Chameleon Bootloader and add the "EthernetBuiltIn" flag set to yes to the com.apple.Boot.plist file.

    This may help.

    Default Nvm

Sound works now, using a 64 bit voodooHDA kext and prefpane. Don't really need the prefpane though. Now all I need is to get sleep working.

Currently have redone my system several times and on 10.6.5 with everything but sleep.

I use tonymacx86's multibeast and iboot. Once done I use the 64bit kexts on here and the voodookext that is 537kb for sound. Once done I install the new nvidia installer tony made for fermi cards and I am completely up.

    I7, 6gb, 2TB, OS X 10.6.5, W7, PNY 460GTX video, samsung 30".

I have updated to 10.6.5 and random blue screens on boot up have started up again. I have to disconnect HDMi from video card and re-connect to get a screen. Last time this was happening the NVEnabler.kext did the trick for me. Anyone else experiencing this?

    Cheers
