Same thing happened to me and to fix it you'll need the right kext for Intel N6200AGN, which is not available yet.

Thanks for you explanation. I've tried to find info how to fix it, as well a compatible kext with no success. I guess I'll keep using the Ethernet connection for now.

I have a Sony VAIO VPCF115FM with GT 330M and am trying to get the video fully working on the laptop's display (it works fine on the external HDMI).

Here is what I have done:

    1) Installed 10.6.3
    2) Updated with Combo Update 10.6.3 v1.1
    3) Updated with MBP Software Update 1.3
    4) Got your .RAR files "System" and "Library"
    5) Extracted them each to a folder and copied the folders to the machine
    6) Opened each extracted folder such as, "System/Library/Displays/Overrides/DisplayVendorID-610" and then copied the files in that folder to the same path on my VAIO. I did this for each folder.

However, I would sometimes get some errors like saying "Could not copy file because file already exists". This is even after I authorized with my password. So then I would just delete everything in the VAIO's folder and replace it with everything from yours. (gave password of course every time asked).
    7) For files for the /Extensions folder, I first copied those in, then dragged them to KextHelper and installed.
    8) After that, I used Disk Utility to fix permissions on my OS X drive. However, every time I re-run fix permissions, it always finds problems. I could run it 100 times and it would always find problems, a LOT of problems. Of course when I rebooted... no improvement. Still 1280x1024, no QE/CI.
    9) Also the pref pains don't work either. I tried them both in /S/L/PrefPanes and ~/L/PrefPanes. Nothing but errors.

    What am I doing wrong?

OK I HAVE ANOTHER QUESTION: I don't think I should have to copy all of the files from MBP Software Update 1.3 over. I was able to use the Installer and install it just as if it was on an actual Mac. So I shouldn't have to copy those files right? That is probably why I was getting those "files already exist" messages. What do you think?

Your help is SO MUCH APPRECIATED!!!
When you try to Replace the files and it says "Could not copy file because file already exists", you have to delete those files first after that just copy them into the folder. I had the same issue when I was trying to replace them.

Also when it says "Files already exist" it means the name of the file but the version you're installing is either new or older.

The MBP (2010) updated released by apple only update some files of the whole OS that works with Intel i7 Processor. In some folders only the version (Kext) is updated in that released update, in others the whole folder. But hard part is to update your system with those file, so that your hardware can work. That's why it has to be done Manually.

    NEW UPDATE:

I deleted my hard drive and Install "Snow Leopard OS" using the new "10.6.4 beta" update from apple and everything works fine. With this new update you don't need to replace any files to have CE QI working. Thanks to apple new update. I have no issues whatsoever on my HP DV7t ct 3100 series

So, here is what you need to do: (Intel i7 processors)

1)- Download "LegacyEmpireEFI_V108.iso" and burn the .iso image on a CD.

2)- Install the retail copy of "Snow Leopard OS X".

    3)- Install "Mac OS X v10.6.3 v1.1 Update (Combo)"</a> and Reboot.

    4)- After rebooting install "cudadriver_2.3.1a_macos.pkg"

5)- Install the New "10.6.4 beta" and Reboot. (or you can wait 2 more weeks for the new Release)

6)- Next after rebooting, Install "ATI ATY_init.kext" modify (remember to use Kexthelper or other program to install it) and repair permissions and reboot.

8)- After that just install the Card reader kext, and Ethernet kext, etc.

To run "Empire EFI Legacy" from you hard drive just follow the instructions below:

First, Install "Chameleon bootloader" (Inside in the Empire EFI CD/Post installition folder) after that open "Empire EFI legacy CD" and copy all the files. (See image below)

and Paste them into "Snow leopard OS folder. (see image below)

after that just reboot and it will load your Empire EFI from your Hard Drive.

Note: In the "Extra folder" you can delete the "Post-Installation folder", it's up to you to leave it or delete.

I hope this can help you!
