    Thumbs up How to: Dual boot Mac osx and windows with EasyBCD[Guide]

    Hello guys, I am Danny.Today I am going to show you how to dual boot mac osx and windows.Simply follow this tutorial if you want to do so.One thing this tutorial is based on windows vista or windows 7.I never tried with windows Xp.

    Lets get started,Things you need:

    1.An OSx86 DVD(iPc,Kalyway,iAtkos,iDeneb and so on)
    2.A windows 7 or vista Installation DVD.
    3.EasyBCD-A windows bootloader entry manager.(Click me to get it)

    Steps:
    Step one:
    Make two partitions.For Mac keep space about 8GB.This is minimum.it depends on how you want to use mac osx.

    STEP Two:
    Install windows on the first partition.I dont think you will need a help for that.

    Step Three:
    Install Mac osx on another partiton.There are a loads of tutorial on how to install mac osx.

    Step Four:
    a:Now put your windows installation DVD in DVD drive.
    b:Restart and boot from DVD.
    c:Let windows file load.then select language,keyboard layout,Location.Click Next.
    d: DONT CLICK ''INSTALL NOW''.
    e:Now You will see repair your computer in Lower left corner.Select that.
    f: Dont let system restore .Just cencel that.
    g:Then select Command line.

    Step FIVE:Once you are in CMD.Write these commands(IGNORE QUOTES)

    Code:
    ''diskpart'' 
    
    ''list disk''
    
    ''Select disk x'' (Select your hard disk drive)
    
    'List partition''
    
    ''select parttion X''(Select the partition on which you have installed Windows)
    
    ''Active''
    NOW REBOOT

    Step Six:After Restarting you will be able to boot in windows> Now luanch EasyBCD

    Follow these images (Copyright iDannyUk)








    Step Seven:Reboot and select what OS u wish to boot into.

    hi..thankz for your guide...it really did help!! but my mac dosnt boot up....windows 7 does....mac dosnt....where coudl i have possibly gone wrong...i have a image of what shows...

    and this is when i click enter on MAC OSX...i get this..what should i do..?
