Here is the hardware that I believe I am going with:

    Motherboard: GIGABYTE EP45-UD3P
Infonec Computers - Computer parts Canada, PC Components, laptop computers, motherboards, processors, CPUs and much more : GIGABYTE EP45-UD3P SKT775 INT P45+ICH10R 4D.DDR2-1200MHZ SATA,1600/1333 FSB, HD-AUDIO,RAID 5, TPM, ATX

    Videocard: EVGA 512-P3-N871-AR GeForce 9800 GTX+
    Newegg.ca - EVGA 512-P3-N871-AR GeForce 9800 GTX+ 512MB 256-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400
    Newegg.ca - Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 Yorkfield 2.66GHz 4MB L2 Cache LGA 775 95W Quad-Core Processor BX80580Q8400

Will all of this hardware work with the EP45UD3P Snow Leopard Installer?
I am most concerned about the videocard. It isn't the GTX 260 but the specs for the 9800 seem to be better than the 260 and it's a cheaper card too.

I will also be purchasing a Wireless Bluetooth USB adapter for my Apple Magic Mouse, but I'm assuming any USB adapter should work..?
Can anybody tell me if this hardware will work for sure before I put my order through?

    Thanks!

Also, does anybody know if the GIGABYTE EP45T-UD3P motherboard work with this vanilla install of OSX Snow Leopard?

    Newegg.ca - GIGABYTE GA-EP45T-USB3P LGA 775 Intel P45 USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Seems like the only difference is support for DDR3 and SLI mode.
    Cheaper board too!

Will the EP45UD3P Snow Leopard Installer support SLI mode?

    Thanks

They will work. The only thing I am not sure about is the video card. The EP45UD3P package is made for a dual DVI video card. I don't know if the S-Video out will mess this up or not. The original card that I used went out of stock, but it was a 9800 GT. The thing is, it is dual DVI with no S-Video port. Feel free to try, and if it works, I will put that card (or a similar one) in the links for the build.

That motherboard will work, but you will need the sound card found here using Kext Helper b7 to install this kext. Also I am not sure if the onboard LAN will work. Again, you can give it a shot, and your results would help me a ton.

    Cobo.....an update for my build.......

Replacing the Q8400 processor listed below with Intel Core 2 Quad Processor Q9550 2.83GHz 1333MHz 12MB LGA775 CPU. That should add some punch to this build.

    EP45-UD3L (NOT EP45-UD3LR)
Patriot Extreme Performance 4 GB PC2-6400 DDR2-800 Dual Channel
BFG BFGE981024GTGE NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT 1 GB GDDR3 PCI Express
    Core 2 Quad Processor 2.66 GHz Q8400
1.5 TB WD 5400 SATA HD
    Asus SATA DVD/RW

I will be buying a SABRENT SBT-SP6C 5.1 Channels PCI Interface Sound Card as you recommended. Also, upgraded to a BFG 650w PSU and the IDE drives are out; all SATA drives. I am still contemplating an LCD temp gauge with card reader http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811999194 and another 4GB ram if snow leopard AND XP can use it and OC'ing.

If I'm going, I'm going big. Waiting for Fedex, UPS and USPS to do their jobs now.
    Any thoughts on this?

Everything looks good to me! The extra RAM is definitely usable by SL and I don't see why XP wouldn't be able to use it. The specs look good.

I am unable to find the Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P motherboard due to it being discontinued. Is there another motherboard that will work just as easily?

    Thanks

I think I just found an answer to my own question:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XEWAIinfawQ

    GA-EP45-UD3L
    Cheaper too!

Also, the E8400 is the same price as the Q8400. Both of these chips seem to work on Hackintosh.
Is there any particular reason I should be going with the Q8400 over the E8400?

    Cause the E8400 is a 3Ghz Core 2 and the Q8400 is a 2.66Ghz Core 2.

I just booted my build with this board and Q9550. See the link I posted earlier, Amazon shows them as in stock still. I first booted in XP to make sure all parts worked. Everything looks good so far. I will be working on boot my "MacPro" next.
