Hi I want to follow this build, I have worked on putting together systems
before but never tried to work on one on my own. Anyway I could get
my hands on a core i5 so I'm thinking of using that as my processor instead.
Could someone recommend a good board for me. And is a 500w power
supply enough for 4Ghz DDR3 RAM, core i3 and a GB video card?

Hmm, well I don't have much experience with i3's or i5's. They require a LGA 1156 motherboard so you would have to find a motherboard that is OSX compatible and is LGA 1156. A good place to look is here (all of these should update to 10.6.5). The 500W power supply should be enough as well.

    Hope this helps a little.

It really is. I have a great system that is dual booting Mac OS X 10.6.5 and Windows 7 Home Premium with a 20GB data share partition. Both are 64-bit and run extremely smooth.

Hmm so I've found that Jailbreaking my iPhone 3GS doesn't work on my Hackintosh unless I am booted into Windows. Anyone else have this problem?

The RAM will work, as will the hard drive. I can't find much about the card though. Lastly, what type of DVD drive is it, SATA or IDE?
The miracle of google translate - ENGLISH VERSION. To summarize this thread, the P543TD PRO works.
