It happens in all browsers that I have tried in SL (Safari, Firefox) however all Flash video plays fine in IE8 on Parallels 5 with Windows 7. I have tried uninstalling & reinstalling Flash Player 10.1 in Snow Leopard. And it only seems to happen on certain videos. Any ideas? Or is this a glitch that Adobe is fixing?
You should manually update Flash, if you are using the latest version of Firefox or Safari, Flash has a major issue. Just go to Adobe's website and install the latest version. That is what I had to do.

Oh sorry, I see that you replied - I just PM'd you just a few minutes ago. If you wanna let me know if those videos play for you that would be much appreciated!
I am using the latest version of Firefox/Safari/Chrome/Opera and Snow Leopard has been updated to the latest version 10.6.4 with no updates showing in Software Update. I have tried reinstalling Flash 10.1 from Adobe's website but still to no avail.
I've also gone so far as to install another copy of Snow Leopard on another harddrive using Kakewalk and it runs into the exact same problem with Flash video...
At this point I am stumped. Could this be some weird graphics card issue or is it a Flash issue that Adobe needs to address? Has nobody else run into this problem? Strangely enough, when I run Windows 7 using Parallels 5 on my machine, all of my videos run fine..
Here is a video which stops playback at "00:07" during the advertisement:

And another example here: http://www.gamespot.com/ps3/driving/...ideos%3Bhd%3B2
If anybody else has this issue please let me know.
(YouTube plays fine)

I did not even download or install Flash from Adobe. All updates were direct from Apple, whatever they provided.

Also just to make you happy, I've played both of those again with Firefox 3.6.8. They played nicely and beautifully without any problem.

Crap.. it must be my graphics card then. I am up to date with the latest version of my browsers and I have tried re-installing Adobe Flash Player multiple times. What else could cause this issue? Any ideas for how to fix?

SUCCESS!!!!
Guess what the reason was? The reason Flash video would not play correctly (it would stop 2-3 seconds after playback) was because my sound was not hooked up. Now that I have my Sabrent USB Surround Box everything works perfectly!!!! No drivers required, hooked it up and booted up my machine. WOOHOO!!!! Couldn't be happier!

I'm new and just replied using advanced and lost the post
. So, trying again. I'm a pro 3d animator and multimedia person...never built any hardware but want a fast machine that will run premiere and after effects (Adobe) and 3D studio max and maya. I'm looked up the quad processor and then found this site for a build configuration. Any suggestions for running these 64 bit applications. I need an open GL card and would like to run two monitors (but just put in what I need for now for one and have in place the ability to put in what I need for the 2nd monitor). What does a system like you're building cost? And is there any instuctions online to teach a newbie like myself how to build a machine or should I pay someone to build it? Last question, is a water cooled fan system a consideration or overkill? Forgive my complete ignorance, but, you all seem to really know machines and wanted to get your excellent advice. Thanks for the help!

Well, I will try to help you as best I can. This is a good build for running 64 bit Mac OS X, 32 bit Windows, and 64 bit Windows. This build cost me $700. As for instructions on how to build, it is very straight forward. I have provided instructions on the first post of this tutorial. Lastly, the water cooled fan system is not necessarily overkill, but it probably isn't needed. That is up to you.

Well being as the only thing I could find about your motherboard being compatible with MAc is in another language that I don't understand, I can't help you there. The RAM will work, as will the hard drive. I can't find much about the card though. Lastly, what type of DVD drive is it, SATA or IDE?
