So I downloaded vmware 7.0 got it running. Downloaded a VMWARE Mac osx 10.5.5 image. Open it with vmware couldn't get pass the grey apple loading screen. Used the revert to parent screen option it loaded. Now iM in mac os with full Internet access.

Downloaded firefox got it working.

**Downloaded steam. It installed. Started to create a new account it crashes and giave me an long list error. Check steam says it requires OSx 10.5.8+.

Checked apple for an update it was available (10.5.8 combined Size 768MB). It downloaded in 30 mins. It then asked to reboot which it automatically did. Begin installing 5%, 20%, 30%.... then at 58% VMware pops up a msg saying the processor core shut down please restart.

And obvious going back to the snapshoot it's still 10.5.5.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
