I have been having trouble with internet access. Where is the VMX configuration file and where do I put the 'ethernet0.virtualDev="e1000"' code?

hi is iATKOS_v1.0ir2 iso image can be used to boot on vmware work station 6? if not can you tell me an iso that is good to boot with. or is there any thing that i can do to make this image (iATKOS_v1.0ir2) that i have bootable on the vmware workstation?

ps: when i boot with this image, even befor i actually start a dialog to select my language and etc there is a message popping up

You need to restart your computer. Hold down the Power button for several seconds or press the Restart button.

and there is a grey power button in behind the messagge

    HELP!!!!

I've read through the forums, but I can't get past the first set of instructions to get ethernet working. It says to, "Back at the VM home screen, go to VM menu >> Settings
Click Add and from the dialog that comes up, choose Ethernet Adapter and click Next " But when I start up my VMware player, I do not have a VM menu with "settings," only preferences regarding "exit behaviour" and "checking for updates"

please advise what I'm doing wrong...

    thanks.

Oh sorry i read your question wrong.
It needs to be put into the .vmx
That file should be found wherever you saved the leopard virtual disk.
You need to open the .vmx in notepad
Also make sure you've got "hide known extensions" unchecked in folder options.
