The keyboard must be usb… with ps2 does not work..:)
What OSX version are you using? just install PS/2 Fix for your version, google it
Just thought I'd update this:
I was able to download and install the 10.5.7 update through software update. Everything worked great except audio. All I had to do was reinstall the two audio kexts (the ones you used during the initial install) and everything is great.
In that case you will need to borrow a USB keyboard or just buy it XD if your using distros you can get it from there.
Just to let you know I am in the same situation. I have made a system up with the following specs
Q8400 (Quadcore OC to 3.2GHz) a EP45-UD3P motherboard, 4Gb ram, 1tb hdd, nVidia 9500Gt video card, and a WMP54G PCI wireless card (Not working yet)
I installed iAtkos v7 using Vanilla kernel Installed with options: ICHx and ICH10 and Jmicron chipset drivers, select all three. Select Realtek r1000 for network. nVidia EFI modifiers DVI/VGA
So far I have not had any onboard sound but using the above post I expect it to be working when I restart (cant do it just yet Im installing logic Studio still got 4 more DVD to go) but was not a biggy as I am also using a EDIROL firewire audio capture box
With the Network stopping working after sleep I found that setting the network to "DCHP with manual address" and setting a fixed IP fixed the issue.
The only thing left for me to get working is the Linksys WMP54G V4.1 PCI wireless card. In about mac it is not detected or under PCI devices but using OSX86 tools it can be detected. if any one has any ideas let me know.
I've also the same problem: for the access to the Network when I go to STOP and I want to return to the work, I can't to find the Network running... If I go to the Preference > Network the router it's doesn't ON.:spinme?
Thanks so much and sorry for my bad english!
I was able to update to 10.5.8 through software update. Again, I had to reinstall the audio kexts like i did for 10.5.7.
Does anyone think these instructions will work with a GA-EP45T-UD3LR motherboard? My local electronics store didn't have any GA-EP45-UD3P and this was the closest I could find. There's a couple differences, but the one that worries me is this board has a Realtek ALC888 for audio instead of the ALC889A.... Help please! I want to figure out whether I should return this motherboard or not...
