Tried Snow Leopard?
New proud owner of the Canadian version Toshiba NB200!! Believe me, I've tried just about every netbook on the market. This is definitely the winner in all categories. Now to make it perfect, would love to install Leopard, but what about Snow Leopard, anyone try playing around with it? BTW, would love to get in on the YouTube Tutorial. (user: thebreezer). Many thanks wingzero619, really dig all the work you've done for the community! Very generous of you!

Guys,
Just as an FYI, I have a completely Vanilla 10.5.7 running on my NB205 using an EFI partition and the new Chameleon RC2. This makes the installation safe for updates and hides away all the modified kext's.
Most things are running fine right now, Ethernet, Airport (swapped 1510 card), Sound, Video (HW accelerated), Webcam, battery meter, Time Machine etc.
Currently not working are sleep/wake, but I'm only a couple of hours into this.

@Riblowski: Very nice. Do you have an installation guide for your method that you can share with the rest of the community? This will be a nice addition to the NB205 thread.

@MrFairladyz: You would you have to purchase a bluetooth dongle. It will work no problem. Members on here are currently using that feature.

@stillageek: All the research can be done on this thread regarding the installation as well as resources you need to complete this project. I created a static install guide on page 4 of the thread which will enable you to get started. Give it a try. Other members on this forum have been very successful with using this guide.

@thebreezer: Thanks for the comments. Welcome to the NB205 threads where we work endlessly to create the best MAC205 on the planet lol. Well so far, we are pleased with what it can do running OSX. I've looked at Snow Leopard, but it seems a bit buggy from what I read. When it becomes more stable, I'll probably end up installing it. Have you tried installing OSX yet? I have a static tutorial available on page 4 of this thread to get you started. Take a shot at it. Others have and were successful!

However, the graphics kext files did not work, because M1530 requires nvidia driver which I found somewhere else.
I really appreciate it very much for your help and guidance.
By the way, I am still having problem with the restart/shutdown. The screen just goes black, and I have to hard reset it via the power button. Any idea to fix this issue?
Also, the internal wi-fi does not work as well. It is the Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN which I am not able to find the kext file yet.
Again, thank you very much.

@JBauer: What's going on buddy. I'm glad to see you passing on the knowledge you have gained from this thread. I don't know if I already answered your questions, but I'll answer them again. For the restart/shutdown function, you might want to reinstall the kexts again. This might help after the upgrade. I have faced that problem in the past and simply reinstalled. Problem was gone. As for the internal WiFi, I don't have a solution because it's probably not a supported piece of hardware. Let us know if you do find a kext for it. Cheers!

Full install from external hd
What's going on fellas! I decided to test my imaged and patched external hard drive to see if I could actually get the install to work. So here's what I did:
Using the disk utility in OSX, I copied the original iDeneb v1.3 ISO file to my external hard drive. Then I used UInstaller and patched it with the Chameleon boot loader. Went back and followed my guide using my external hard drive as my source oh my gawd, it worked like a dream.
Here's the kicker part. I know everyone talks about how buggy the battery indicator. Well I'm noticing that ever since the install using my external hard drive, my battery indicator has not bugged out. I'll say it again lol, my battery indicator has not bugged out. I'm sure it will some point in time, but for right now, I'm loving that it doesn't X out. Just my findings for today. Hope you guys have a good one with the new MAC205!
