    - are you trying this on an eeePC 1000HGo?
    - Did you find it while installing OSX?
    - Did you set it up in the BIOS as one of the bootable devices?

If everything fails, just get rid of Windows at install OSX on your harddrive ;-)
I have currently a dualboot installation on my harddrive, as I found out that the harddrive is slightly faster than the 16GB SD I used before. I installed MS Vista and OSX (still iDeneb v1.3) and set up dual boot with easyBCD (found the HowTo her in the forum somewhere).

yes, I'm trying it on asus 1000Hgo, but I didn't set up BIOS as a bootable device..how to do it?? I only disabled LAN as you wrote at point 2...

I'd like to have leopard and native XP...do I need to install leopard and then use the bootcamp for install Xp?? or maybe ther's a way to install leopard without format my HD??

    thanks

    1. go to the BIOS (F2 upon startup)
    2. go to Boot-Configuration and set the Flash Disk as second drive after the CD-Rom (HDD will be third then)
    3. on reboot, that should be all.

Bootcamp didn't work for me. That's why I installed it on my Flashdrive to be able to dualboot on BIOS-basis.
Now I set up two primary partitions, 25GB each. I Installed OSX first, then Vista. In Vista, I used easyBCD to setup an additional entry in Windows OS selection tool, that's all (not the nice way, as rEFIt or Chameleon 1.12, but hey, it works.

I am now anxiously waiting for Leo4all v6 to be downloadable, as it is said to be the solution for all our remaining issues.

BTW, I ordered a Mini-PCI-WLAN-Airport-Card (about 14$ including shipping). I prefer the MAC way for my WLAN ;-)

Post Installing from an USB drive

    Yes, I do:

1.) get a copy of the OSx86 version you intend to install
2.) either use drive genius or OSX Disktool to restore the image to your USB stick (that assuming that you already have a Mac to do to so)
3.) Boot from that stick and install as if it was a DVD

I got an 8.5GB USB Stick for $5 (from a discounter next to me) and a mini USB Hard drive with 20GB for $25. That makes installation quite easy, as I can play around with the Installation without touching my perfectly working ideneb v1.3 / Vista dualboot installation on my internal harddrive.

As I didn't use Windows for quite a while I have no idea if there is any Windows software that can restore .iso images to an USB stick. Maybe Partition magic or Arconis Disk director Suite can do that.

Feedback on this would be helpful for many people I guess.

    Hei!

Thanks for the tip. But unfortunately my mac is busted, so I am trying to get it all started from windows. So I am still trying everything I can find on the internet. I will report if I find a way here.

// or if someone else knows how to make an USB pen drive to be the installation disk before I find out myself. I would appreciate it

I just found an image of a working OSx86 liveDVD for my eeePC:
    iPC X-DL LiveDVD

Applying my patches mentioned above, this enables me to have a 10.5.6 installation on my eeeMAC. So now I con run iLive'09 and iWork'09 with my eeeMac.

I'll try to clone the working LiveDVD to my hard drive now. Hopefully this will work, too...

BTW: Arconis Disk Director Suite 10 is able to clone an ISO image to a USB-Stick, as I was just told by a friend of mine. He installed the Image mentioned above to his USB Stick under Windows Vista using Arconis. Installing and running the live DVD works perfectly from this Stick now.
