Tried this with OSX 10.5.4, OSX 10.6, botzh fail with the same issue...

Of course I'll do so. You never have a perfect system, till you applied every update that might be available somewhere ;-)

I'll try Leo4all Live DVD (http://lea4all.com) as soon as it comes out. Maybe we'll have some news there.

I tried iDeneb v1.4 meanwhile, but after the successful installation I get stuck during reboot. But this one already has some preconfigured Netbook installations that you can check during instaltion. Of course, eeeMAC 1000HGo is not available there.

i dont think leo4all worrks yet cuz itll just give you a blue screen where it should show you the menu lol (i could probably have plugged a big screen in and it work tho)

My eeeMAC is working perfectly (Meanwhile dualbooting with iDeneb v1.3 and Windows Vista, both installed on the HDD), but I still have the networking issues (LAN not working at all, WLAN only with KisMAC cheat).

If only I would be able to install any 10.5.6 distribution, I would be glad, as iWorks'09 and iLife'09 won't install on a 10.5.5 machine. I am sure I will have to fiddle around with the eeeMAC specific stuff, but at least a 10.5.6 base installtion would be helpful. That's why I am looking forward to Leo4all Live DVD...

If you don’t have 10.5.6 and you don’t want to upgrade do this :

Go to /system/library/coreservice/SystemVersion.plist Edit this files :

ProductBuild

Version 9E17

ProductCopyright

1983-2008 Apple Inc.

10.5.6

ProductVersion

I tried to follow all the steps you wrote but I found some difficulties:
1) I can't find any "single flash reader" to select when I hold the ESC key after the intallation (step 5)...so I cant' follow steps 6, 7, 8, 9 of your guide
2) If I try to go on with the intallation it appers the leopard's "Welcome"page...I select my country and my keyboard.. but after the page "DO YOU ALREADY OWN A MAC?" ( I choose do not transfer my informaztion now) the installation stops and go back to the welcome page....what's wrong??
