for those having problems with wifi, if you have a broadcom 43xx like i do, try the wireless for 1545 package from this tutorial,

While I installed 10.5.8 occurred a KERNEL PANIC and I tried:
Boot in to single user mode (-s)
2.rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions
3.rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions.mkext
but in last occured this:


:/ root# rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions.mkext
rm: /System/Library/Extensions.mkext: Read-only file system
:/ root#


What can I do? Help I need somebody.

i'm typing this on my new software thanks to your directions and me just being a little clever myself.. acer aspire one aoa150 model 1.5gb ram new wifi card..still dont work ( airport DID recognize it tho ) sound, video, clear wireless connection manager- ok, quartz enabeled. fun project...got a diffuser from macbook air for my lid ...soon to come.. thanks again

still gotta boot with flags -f -v cpus=1 just tried to backup my extensions as directed.. and the d250 link is broken...any specifics on these flags anyone....single core cpu got that -v...video maybe

If you can install SL for it instead of Leopard, 10.6.2 and later, then there are kernel specially for the system: Atom kernels.
It would be faster and there is no need for any of those flags.

Sorry for the bump, but the d250-rev3.zip in the OP is gone. I finally decided to give this a try and had everything else ready when I saw the file was missing... Anyone have it and can reupload it?

thanks for the help....have since got mine pretty much FULLY operational. new mac wifi card (freebie) works beautifully. just kept re-installing and trying everything out. ilife '09 runs, crossover does not. will work on sn..i think that would be fun...my homeboy who told me about this couldn't believe i was able to get this to run so quickly..lol. still likes to hang on shutdown, but only on occasion, which i can live with. got a friend who's got a lil acer netbook, after he seen mine he wants me to work on his. any wireless problems..to hell with a kext, just get a wifi card from a mac..$20 on ebay...WELL WORTH IT!! thanks yalloh, got my red apple in the lid!! and got pics

Hi , i have a d250 , actually a emd250 emachine , i think its the same , anyway , im confuse .

i installed using this iPC 10.5.6 Leopard Hackintosh AMD.iso

i make working wifi(internal) , and webcam , but no sound , and no vga , 800 x600 only ,
