where did you find your dw1510 wireless card so cheap?

does the dw1397 halfsize card work?

well i have a gateway lt2005u which is about idetical to this acer. acer owns gateway i even used this guide and a couple of the fixes! works great!

for me wheni close the screen just turns off. but it stays on even the hard disk still spins. i tried putting it to sleep and it just wouldn't wake up.

i'm thinking about buying a dell dw1397 wireless card. $12 free shipping. but i'm not sure if it will work on osx. usb wifi should work. bluetooth teathering also works with my usb bluetooth.

first of all thanks for that guide. i stuck with the 10.5.8 update. it just wont start after it (endless grey apple logo with spinning wheel) I did everything the guide says.. but somehow it doesnt work.

second and more important; wireless doesnt work. i opened my aspire to see what chip it uses. its a broadcom one. so i was looking for a driver.. it doesnt matter what i do, i cant activate airport in the network prefs and dont even see it in Kismac..

i hope someone knows what to do... please help me

Ive install this 3-4 times. 1 I can not get the update 10.5.8 to install. 2 no wifi and 3 no ethernet at all.
Im dooing this on a Acer Aspire One D-250-1759 2gig ram Dell 1395min. wifi. I have also followed steps listed elts where with the same results. Any ideas?
Also after the install it boots right in to mac os x i dont need to do cpus=1. witch is good right? I dont care about sound or anything like that i just want the wifi to work

I have an acer Aspire One d250

Im using this tutorial and i have problems in step 17.

When i try install the graphic driver, it install correctly but when i reboot the screen resolution is the same after i install 10.5.8 (800x600).

I have solved this install it from the aitkos v7 DVD, but i have the same problem with the wifi installer, and it is not in the DVD.

The Wifi icon in the top bar, don't apear

How can i install the Wifi driver if the d250-rev3.zip's driver don't work?

I had tried this:
InsanelyMac Forum > ATHEROS AR5007 (Aspire 150 Working w/Kismac)
but the atheros pkg don't work

i found a low cost solution

I got OS X installed on my D250-1197 but same as some others. Video driver doesn't work and neither does wireless driver.

Same here, only that the video driver runs perfect, but wireless driver don´t work.
