Yes, you would use Chameleon to boot your hdd mac os partition.

Ok. Did you mean -x -v cpus=1? or did you mean to have the dash after the x. I tried it the way I wrote it, and I got the blue screen yet again... Ideas?

Yes, sorry for the typo. You got it right. Too many hour on computer so I mis-spelled it.

Your problem is kind of strange. Should go through with VESA.
I've been searching for other Dell models to see if there anything else pertaining to hardware, and so far nothing surfaces yet.
Meanwhile, I guess you should try to see if you can make it any further.
Will keep you posted of what I can find.

    Cheers,

OK, I will keep trying. Let me know if you find anything. Ill give it a few more days then I give up. Also, could it have anything to do with the harddrive? I know it works, but the brand or whatever shouldn't matter, right?

    Hello Hackint0sh nerds

For the first time I'll try to install a Mac system on my pc.
I have never worked with Mac before, but alot windows systems.

I followed the guide and everything works untill the reboot at the end of the installation, I have seen pepole on the internet who had got this working on my kind og system, but the only thing I get is the apple logo with a cross over, and then it stalls.

I belive that is has something to do with the costumazion that goes wrong.

Can anyone tell my what to choose and what not to choose to get this working with my system, i'll appreciate that.

    My system are the following:
    #AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black 3.4GHz 140W Box AM
    #Gigabyte GA-MA790XT-UD4P 790X AM3 DDR3 CFX
    #Corsair DDR3 PC3-1333 4GB CL9 kit XMS3 DHX
    #Club 3D Radeon PCI-E HD4890 1GB DDR5 New cool
    #Corsair DDR3 PC3-1333 4GB CL9 kit XMS3 DHX

If anyone has anything I should change in my BIOS i'll like to know.

    Thank you!
Im danish, therefor my bad english

    Hi there, and welcome.

May need more information of your customization, and guide. But a quick suggestion is AMD can not run vanilla kernel. And you need to boot with options:

    -x -v arch=i386

    Hi,

You are the one who should be asked that question.

But, anyway, I think I came across something worth a look.
With the same laptop model and using the same 1.6 version.
I will look at it to see if it could serve any help to you.
