Hi there,
You may not select the correct options.
Boot with -x -v and post your error message.
Use Ideneb 1.6 for better support.

Hi,
At your customization screen, there should be descriptions for choosing your kernel, so pick one with support for your CPU instruction sets.
Also, go to kexts.com, under kernel section, there are all kernels available along with descriptions so you get ideas.
For your video, only select ATI ATY_init (under ATI video custom) for video injection (in Ideneb 1.6).
Always boot with -x -v until you are in OSX with all drivers/kexts loaded.
Good luck.

One question. Once it is done installing and you have to restart it, should you eject the disc then restart? or restart with it still in?
-
So I should select the ATI Kext even though I have an NVIDIA Graphics Card?? And there are about 5 kernels I really don't know which is best for Intel SSE2/SSE3
Thanks alot for your help. I really appreciate it.
EDIT - I downloaded the kernel on my Windows laptop and it is a Mac .pkg file. It is compatible with my old Intel Pentium 4 Processor but how do I add it to the 'Customisation' section on the installation DVD?
OH MY F****** GOD CAN ANYONE HELP ME I BLOODY DID WHAT EVERYONE SAID BUT IT STILL DOESNT BLOODY WORK. I AM STILL GETTING THE APPLE LOGO WITH THE CROSS.
PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE WHAT THE F*** DO I DO THIS IS SO f****** FRUSTRATING

If you don't want that ATI kext, it's fine. I have 2 of those NV cards with that kexts, and they all work under both Leopard and Snow Leopard. Why should you worry about whether it's NV or ATI while your OSX is not even up and running yet. Just follow the given suggestion to see if yours goes any further in the process.
Boot with -x -v and post your error message. You can try those kernels and that's why you need to look at their description to know what to choose in Ideneb.
What chipsets are in your motherboard? Did you select chipsets drivers, patches/fixed/support files? You can change kernel later once in OSX. For now, try to work with your Ideneb first. Post your detail board chipsets, your BIOS settings and your selections under customization to see if something is wrong/missing.
Keep cool! Take easy and don't use bad language.

Hi,
You don't need that disc in there unless something is wrong with the bootloader setup.
Chameleon should boot up your OSX if you setup your partition/boot correctly.

So eject the disc, then reboot? And when Chameleon loads, it wont work just straight, so when i run -v -x, it says something like : ERROR:STILL WAITING FOR ROOT DISC or something like that. if i let chameleon just run, sometimes it loads the appkle and the x on it, or sometimes the screen goes dark gray, then my computer powers off.... help?
thanks to all of you, uve been helpful so far.
EDIT- shoot. just realized this is a thread for v1.4 im on v1.6. but still help me plz. lol thnx
EDIT2- after googleing, i have two more questions. do i have to hit customize and select a kernel and chipset? or is there one automatically?

OH, BOY!!!
YES, you need to hit customize and select options that match your hardware, otherwise OSX can't work.
