HP DV2000 99% Working!
I have a HP HP DV2000 - Specific Model is DV2222TX and here's what I got so far:
System Specs:
Intel Core 2 Duo T2250 1.73 Ghz, NVideo Go7200, Connextant Audio, Webcam, Intel Pro 100ve, Intel 3945 Wireless, Bluetooth, Matshita DVD ram UJ-8515 (Dual Layer DVDRW), 2 Gb ram, 320 GB HD
Distro: iDeneb 10.5.7
Kernel: Darwin kernel 9.7.0
Bootloader: Chameleon 1.0.12
Working so far:
* Audio (ootb) Connexant High Definition Audio (Working with VoodooHDA) ***See Updated Post below
* Video (NVKrush for Quartz Extreme Support and 1280x800x32bit)
* Wired Lan: Intel Pro 100ve ( ootb)
* Bluetooth (ootb)
* Webcam (ootb)
* Audio Out (ootb)
* USB (ootb)
* Keyboard and Trackpad (ootb)
* Wireless --- Intel 3945 --forget about it! Swapped for BCM 94311 HP White listed *Phew
* Quartz GL ( Only working with NVCrush)
Not working:
* Sleep ( Works but audio is choppy after wake)
* mic ( built in, untested ext mic - who cares get USB headset for skype)
iDeneb selections:
* Chameleon 1.0.12
* 9.7.0 kernel
* AppleDecrypt
* Disabler
* DSDT Patcher
* TimeMachine Fix
* openhaltreset fix
* Seatbelt fix
* idlehaltfix
* Voodoo HDA ( Someone said AppleAzzliaAudio would be a better choice)
* ICHx fixed
* Intel100ProVE
* Broadcom Wifi
* Voodoo Power battery
* Intel Power Management
* Nvidia NVInject 0.2.1 (Repleace with NVkrush after install)
Notes:
1- Add -f to com.apple.Boot.plist for kernel flag to fix wired ethernet dropping off.
2- Replaced NVinject with NVKrush as Quartz would not enable with nvinject no way no how and damnit I need quartz with this crappy nvidia go card.
3 - had to reapply a seatbelt fix for kernel 9.7.0 as it was panic city on dmg downloads with safari.
todo:
need to test AppleAzzilla kext as a replacement for VoodooHDA to see if it cures sleep to wake sound stutter issues.
Conculsion:
Didn't think I would get this one done as well .. its a flippin HP but it's a nice little hackintop now aside from the missing 1%. If anyone has any suggestions or comments and or questions be happy to accept them.

Reason: Audio update

Update
**** Replaced VoodooHDA with AppleAzaliaAudio and fixed stuttering sound issue after wake from sleep. However mic in still not working and now no ext audio out. I think this is a good trade off though as sleep is very important and I can always use a USB headset if needed.

*This is a non-standard card. I bought it on eBay for $7 since the Intel card it came with is not supported. If you decide to swap your card for a BCM one, please, ensure the BCM model you buy is supported by your model of HP Pavilion. This is VERY IMPORTANT! HP has white-listed only a small number of wireless cards in their version of BIOS. It won't allow you to use a non-supported version without hacking their BIOS (which is painful and can possibly brick your laptop). Please, google for "104-unsupported wireless device" for more info.

Post-Installation
1. LAN isn't working. I didn't try to figure out why. Might be a simple problem (but I don't care about it since Wireless is working)
2. Sound works fine but it won't work on headphones. Not a major problem, a relatively minor irritation.
3. If you download DMG files and try to mount them, the whole system bombs. This is a known problem with the Seabelt patch. Here's the suggestion way to fix it. This didn't work for me though. I tried several times but no beans. Finally gave up on it and installed iGetter. As weird as it sounds, when downloading the same dmg files with iGetter, all is well. It also works well if you download a dmg file on another machine and then copy it. No idea why but I'm too old to worry about spending more than 15 mins on this relatively minor issue.
The rest looks good. Enjoy!
This didns't work

Snow Leopard
Hi, i have got the same HP DV2000 i installed 10.6.3 (then u may update to 10.6.6 if u like ) with iatkos DVD. i ordered the wifi card u swapped with. it will come tomorrow. But although i did chose intell v100 pro driver while installing, it did not work. When it sleeps, it doesnt wake up at all... Bluetooth doesnt work. I both have 10,6,6 and win7 64 bit installed with camelon rc5 bootloader. Hope that wifi card works.
