    Default X-sim from US seller

    HI guys
I have been reading posts in the forum for a while looking for a solution for my otb 112 iphone, thanks for all the info I got from here, just want to share my experience. I have researched turbosim, stealthsim ,they seem have a better reputation, but they are difficlut or expesensive to get. So i decided to give a try on those no name patches. What surprised me is that they are NO CHEAP too. Xsim is the cheapest ($70 for regular mail, $5 extra for express) ,aslo one fo the few I can get from US not somewhere overseas. I contacted the seller and received a reply almost right away, he claims xsim is the latest generation of all patches, and he is the manufacture?! (maybe?!!) Anyway, the item arrived in express mail 2nd day. The chip is very thin and soft, I cut a edge of my sim and it goes in the slot easily. It shows "NO SERVICE" after I first installed it, but find Tmobile after 15 seconds. I tried sms and all stuff, it did work well.
Hope it's another alternative for Turbo or Stealth.

TOMMY was his name-o. He says he has a new "5th generation with BGA technology and 64k rom" that will allow 90% of 3G to work in EITHER 1.1.2 OOB US OR UK, so this appears to be a minor breakthrough, if any.

I personally did not purchase from this guy because he made so many promises and baseless statements that I began to question him... Oh well, I got a Nextsim coming and will post back!

Good for you to share you experience, upset you maybe, but I dun think it is fair for you to assume that everyone that have a success with the card or have news to share a accomplice

Cool.. in that case, do pardon my assumption. However, speculations like that might deter people with actually working solutions to step out and share their experience.

It is sort of a brain storm session and I think every bits count... then of cos there are people with commercial reasons ttouting their obviously not working stuff to confuse the situation. Benefit of the doubt should be given until proven...

++respect for that, but I was worried because I thought I was scammed for a second! The Ayuen guy shipped it today and I should receive it in 3 or 4 days The guy seems nice and he is giving me a next sim 2 for 56$US delivered when this one American guy (the only guy on ebay selling Xsim) was charging 50$+20$ delivery...

    So the Xsim works good?

I am from uk and I do wireless resell. I think I met the same guy as you mentioned here. I recently got 10 pcs from him for a good bulk price, shipping is faster compare to my previous orders from china, price a bit expensive.Overall working perfect, thinner than previous ones. I feel this one is better than NextSim which I ordered before, some of them have some compatibility issues and I found it hard to return them to the seller in china as promised.

So do you got this generation 5 that Tommy guy was talking about? works with 1.1.2 US/UK 1.1.2 iPhones?

he told me to wait a week because he is in final testing stages of a solution that works on all iphones, but from the look of the 64K rom as he calls it, looks like a real battery killer!

Yeh this guy from HK I met says that if it does not work for my 1.1.2 OOB US, he will refund no questions asked, but I hope it works!

and if yours works with a US 1.1.2 in UK, send me a pm and a price I want just 1

I bought a Smart Patch (aka x-sim) and it works really good, it fits into iphone a lot easier than turbo sim, which took 1 month to deliver
