    I have been testing StealthSim SE since Thursday morning with sporadic "No Service" issues and about an hour ago, it said "No Service" and no matter how many times I turned it off and on, it would not get service. When I got home, I rebooted several more times, and finally it worked again. This method should be avoided. It is completely unstable, and now it appears I cannot use the towers by my work. StealthSim Se is OUT! I have a RebelSim on its way. I'll let you guys know how everything goes along the way.

    Ditto. Not sure why he/she wasted their money.

    It seriously sounds like the network can see these fake mask attempts by all these sim proxies and then blocks you.

    My main contract sims have suffered the same fate but a newly opened PAYG sim is working - for the minute at least. I suspect a few more hours and then it'll stop working completely.

    @wdelisi: What network/country?

    since i no longer have my data plan ,i couldn't check edge or 3g service connection.

    Without sounding negative. 12 hours is nothing and there is no real test if you cant try 3G network/data.

    Go drive around abit 50+ miles, turn the phone off and on. Simulate real usage and I bet it stops working. They all do.

    Hi guys,

    I'm from france and i've been testing an Ismart 2008 sim for now 5days.

    3g data is not available, so cannot access app store GPS youtube , thus i cannot use the iphone properly.

    But, as a matter of fact the goal is actually to use the iphone just for calling and sending sms for the moment waiting for a fully unlock.

    And i can say that this is working properly, signal is full, i've turned the iphone off and on many times, and it finds the service immediatly.

    So yes it works for just incoming and outcoming callings and texts.

    But i must admit that i'm quite unhappy as it's like if i were using a simple phone, so guys don't buy it's only for minimal services and wait for an unlock. I think that's the best deal.

    My iphone is an 8gb bought in SD the 11th, i'm currently in france using SFR.

    No, the goal is not to just get the call working for calls and SMS. If that was the goal - you would get a first gen iPhone.

    The goal is the get calls in/out, texts in/out, FULL DATA SERVICES and 3G network service.

    Just to be clear.

    I have also been set some Universal SIM and StealthSIM. Lets see how they get along with my lovely VF cards that refuse to work with anything else.
