Lebera (Vodafone MVNO) with Yessim

Roger that. Now 9PM GMT. Mine appears to work still. Catch you all tomorrow. Time to chill out a bit. See what tomorrow brings.
PS. GPS working as long as there is (a) cached Google Map data, (b) some sort of open Wifi (need not be free, as long as it gives you some sort of IP I think). The GPS is pretty badass, I have to say. Do you have to be outdoors for it to really work sometimes? I'm not a GPS-y person. But it still feels badass.

I would like to give my issues/experiences with StealthSim SE so far. I have been using it for 36 hours with service the whole time. My main "issue" is that after a random amount of time (5 hours, 45 minutes, etc), I will test call my phone and the call rings 3-4 times and goes to VM. Same with texts. I have full "signal" the whole time. When I reboot, full functions are back. (Incoming/Outgoing everything) Google maps with GPS is AWESOME. I have T-Mo USA so I can only use EDGE, but unless you're going 90 MPH, it refreshes quickly enough. So far, I would still call this rather inconvenient and unstable. If you're trusting of signal bars, go another route...

I am also trying a "RebelSIM' from a UK based company who's offices I have been to which do appear to have a working solution. I will update on this shortly.
YesSIM: Out of the box - not working at all on Vodafone, Orange, T-Mobile. Need USB cable to program.
Sigma/Alpha X-SIM: Works on 2G only. Outgoing calls/texts only. Data works fine however.
TurboSIM: already reported.
Hi,
Just for your info, Rebelsim or AlphaXsim (beta, gama ......
) are same product with different names. And this ones are not re-programmables like universal sim or like yessim. Trust me, i know all sim in market.
We have tested all this sim. I am the producer of universal sim that will be sent to testers to see 100% sure 3G and EDGE NOT working with any sim in market.
Unlocking SIM's are not solution for IPHONE 3G if u want use it with 3g and EDGE functions.
BR,
Manole

Yes.. and alot of these other solutions work out of the box for sims that have never been tested.
We'll need to test this ourselfs with our collection of sims for a thorough result.

After less than 12 hours, my Yessim stock configuration and O2 prepaid has stopped working. It goes to No Service or Searching... in the left hand corner.
Until Yessim is able to provide to us USB cables (please do) to check "Boost mode" and all that, I have to report that my finding is that Yessim for Vodafone and O2 in the UK does not work at this stage.
It may be that the UK and Europe networks are highly resilient to this sort of network tampering.
More information needed on RebelSIM, since it is a UK reseller, on how long it lasts.
It is interesting that they offer a seven day money back guarantee. What happens in the 2nd week if it stops working if the networks adapt to it?
More information needed on accurate reporting of StealthSIM in UK, Europe, and global network operations.
I will only be able to resume testing with Yessim in a few weeks time on Malaysian networks, namely, to start, "Digi". "Maxis" and "Celcom" networks to be tested perhaps at later occasions.
LP*, Yessim Support, any more news on sending us USB cable to check "Boost mode" and so on? The issue now though is that once used to attach to SIM, Yessim sample is kinda bent.
nvidia2008 signing off for now. Mattmartin and others, please do report where possible. I'm laying off the network tampering in case I am attracting too much attention.
I know the Dev Team is working very hard on things, and it is just a matter of a few weeks, perhaps a month at most, IMHO, before they crack this baseband thing wide open. At least starting with 2G in/out calls. Their latest update mentions being able to fully backup the wifi tables and the seczone which appears something they were really concerned about when messing with the iPhone 3Gs. Therefore. The 3G baseband unlock along with 2.1, I wish the Dev Team all the best and I know that by the end of August, you're going to come up with some great stuff.
There will be continuing conflicting reports on SIM solutions. Therefore I recommend the Wiki and other approaches go onto a country-by-country, network-by-network basis.
Simply "this SIM solution works" is not enough data.

It seems from the baseband logs that the Yessim perhaps partially masks the IMSI. I don't know exactly what this means but anyway y'all send the logs to Deco.
I think in the UK, if Yessim or other SIM solutions work for awhile, if you go to a different location in the city, or like today afternoon I went through a tunnel, then something happens (maybe the network doesn't like you being on a TMSI or something anymore) that kills the SIM solution from working.
Again, I have no idea about this kind of stuff.
Overall, the conclusion is that at this stage there is promising functionality within the first several hours or days then things start to go off the tracks.

How on earth did you do that. Yessim is alot more rigid than others I have tried although, not as sturdy as TurboSIm.
