this is the list of all the major "Sim Patches" used... discussed frequently on this forum.
the top 4 on the list seem to be the most popular.
as far as "BEST".... the top 4 have all proven to give the same results. The only exception would be the TurboSim.... as it is "re-programmable". I believe KingSim is as well, with the use of 3rd party hardware (card reader/writer).
From there... its just up to you on "how much you wanna spend?", and where/how fast you can get it.
Note: the benefits of "re-programmable" are that future updates to the iPhone FirmWare/Loader "may" disable the current Sim Patch.... hence, one would be able to reprogram their TurboSim to accept the new FirmWare/Loader changes.

It should also be noted (and someone please correct me if I'm wrong), that the TurboSim is a more involved process than most of the others. Most of the Sim-patch cards are simply plug and play. Those selling them are trying to sell an iphone solution while Bladox (who manufactures TurboSim) simply produces a product that someone else figured out how to make it properly interact with an iPhone.
As I understand it, Turbosim copies the information from the AT&T card that came with your phone, and then relays it to the phone along with your Sim card information. Other solutions already have this programmed into them.
I'm personally waiting until 1.1.3 is out and we see which solutions still work. I suspect all of them will, but who knows?
