I'm having some issues with the Normal speed virginsim on my iphone.... I'm on T-Mobile USA
1st issue- when I pick up most incoming calls I cannot hear and they cannot hear me its like a dead line.. everything else works
2nd issue- Whenever I loose signal I have to restart the phone or it never finds signal again
I also got the highspeed version with mine and that doesn't work (NO SIM ERROR) on my T-Mobile sim card

I'm having the same problem with T-Mobile USA.
High speed = NO SIM Error
Normal speed = Working most of the time. No incoming calls or sms at least every 2 days. Restart will fix it. Outgoing calls working ok.

Hi,
I recieved my virgin-sim (normal speed) and using it on my iphone 3g with the 3 Uk network.
Seems to work fine. Just find the reception to be very poor compared to using the O2 payg sim without a sim adapter. And also the 3g connection cuts out time to time.
Just to note been using the virginsim all day today and last night yday. The reception quality is very poor using it and cant seem to recieve or dial out. Any ideas?

Hi,
Sorry about all the trouble, we have just made some modification on the software, we think this should solve your problems. Alos, if you are using T-mobile 2G service, pls. switch to 2G in network selection. This will help the "never find signal again" issue otherwise the iPhone will keep on looking for 3G network & cannot jump out of it.
Pls. contact your reseller & give them your details ,they shall send you the new Virginsim straight away.

I've contacted my ebay seller to ask for updated SIMs. I got two, one doesn't work at all (no sim error) and the other one works except for low reception and no GPRS or 3G. Can the virgin sim software be updated with a smartcard reader?

hmm. I swapped out my VirginSim to test out YesSim so I could write up a review.
I decided to put back the High speed virgin sim and got a "no sim" error even after many reboots and reapplication.
I tried a different High speed virgin sim (same version fromthe same batch) and it works. Bizzare

The new minor modification was carried out on 22 Oct., 2008, so every order send out on that that day would be the latest version.
For pranay84, I shall send out a new set of Noraml & high speed Virginsim to you tomorrow, I do not understand why it did not work well on your iPhone, I want you to join the happy Viginsim users.

OK, I have checked with my ebay resellers, none of them seem to have received any request for a swap of updated sims from you, may be your ebay user name is different. In that case pls. give me the reseller from whom you brought the Virginsim from, I shall see into this by myself. Any irresponsible resellers will be terminated.
