I searched this forums for an answer but couldn't find one sorry if this has been answered before. but anyway I use a blackberry and bought a sim cloner so i could also use my 3gs for pandora in my car. I had little luck with the cloner and even if i did get it to work it seems att knows what phone is hooked up at what time ( i was just trying to switch back and fourth) the iphone and blackberry plans are incompatible even tho they are the same price? if i unlocked/ jailbroke the iphone would that help? and any suggested methods for cloning a sim if this is possible?

Yes it is possible. But, only if you use a simcard prior to 2002(v1 simcards).

The thing is, these sim cloners and backup dongles could only scan and crack v1 simcards. v2 or v3 simcards's ki is not possible to crack(correct me if im wrong).

I had two old simcards and was able to scan/crack/copy two numbers to a 12in1 "SuperSIM". I use Number A and B on an iPhone with the original old simcard(Number A) on a Nokia.

These SimCloner/Backup docngle comes with a CD(Softwares), Dongle and 1 free multi-sim. I hope that helped you understand.

Some carriers will offer a twin SIM option, where you get a second SIM - same number and so on.. both phones will ring. Only the first phone will receive SMS
