Try to realign the ultrasim and reinsert. Thats weird, you can get voicemail but no service? I would think if no service means no voicemail as well?

there is a tiny tear in the board at one of the corners of the chip in the ultrasim. it is exactly perfect over the sim card. i can email you pictures if you like.

oh that could be a problem as they are fragile to begin with. email us ur order number and take a picture and send us through email.

Hello,
I'm having a problem with the edge setting.
I have An Iphone 1.1.2 OOTB w/ firmware 04.02.13_G ( week 47 )
Activated and is running on a T-Mobile with an Ultrasim.

The whole procces was very smooth except I order the T-Mobile 19.99 data plan yesterday. I see the Edge symbol on the Iphone but it does not show on the network settings. I was told from T-Mobile that the data plan would take anywhere from 2 hrs. to 24 hrs to kick in. Am i missing a step in the process?
By the way the service is great from Ultrasim and shipping was super fast.

go to GENERAL-NETWORK-EDGE-APN-put "internet2.voicestream.com"
leave blank for username and password.

Thanks for the help fububoi83 but I can only get to GENERAL-NETWORK then no EDGE appears in the network settings. Any suggestions would help.

i tried virginizing and reinstalling everything and still nothing. i tried putting it in a few times in case it wasn't making good contact. still no luck. the settings/carrier screen says ERROR and it doesn't detect the carrier at all. the tiny puncture/tear in the board is more pronounced now. i think the board was defective and when i put it in it tore. i was very delicate and thorough in my procedure. i'd think i need another one that is intact. This is very frustrating, i should be using my phone right now!

"NO SIM" ERROR.
maybe T-mobile blocked my iPhone from their network???
my iphone worked fine for a week, but all of sudden, it shows "No SIM".
tried everything but still "No SIM". don't tell me to align, adjust, reinsert, etc. already spent enough time.

curious thing is that my old SIM/UltraSIM works fine = UltraSIM works.
also, new SIM works fine with my old phone (T809) = new SIM works.
only when new SIM/UltraSIM doesn't work after a week = No SIM error.
